TRANSATLANTIC PART TWO-April 2nd to April 29th

Jim and I have decided that the older we become the less we enjoy jet lag. Because of this we are always on the lookout for a cruise that takes us from point A to point B without having to deal with those long European flights. We found what we were looking for a few months ago.

We are going on a repositioning cruise, across the Atlantic, to Portugal, Spain, Rome and then we will stay onboard in the same room for a Greek Islands cruise. We end up in Rome on April 29th. We are sailing from Ft. Lauderdale and the first 8 days are at sea. We will be on the Holland America Noordam and our first day on land will be Easter Sunday in Lisbon, Portugal.

Since we always share with you the beauties of the museums and countryside of the places in Europe, we wanted to show you what we are leaving in good old Arizona. I bet none of you thought there was anything so remotely as beautiful as what you will see. This is truly the most beautiful time of year here in Arizona and we wanted you to know that we appreciate the beauty here as much as the beauty of Rome. Enjoy what can be found in our own backyards and the Desert Botanical Gardens. The Dale Chihuly exhibit leaves in May and is very much worth your time and energy. It is beautiful!
