After our long day of traveling and walking throughout airport terminals we were greeted by our friends Angela and Steve carrying a placard announcing our names. We were so excited to see both of them.
We drove to their home in Bristol, about 115 miles from Heathrow. They had rented a car for the week since their cars are too small for all four of us.
After a delicious dinner of cottage pie (minced meat, carrots, onions, and topped with mashed potatoes) and cake we headed to the living room for a visit. Jim soon started yawning and headed to the shower and I followed later. We both slept from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and woke up feeling like a new woman.
today we are going on an open top bus tour of Bristol. I will post pictures and more later. We are just trying to see if the blog is still working. Until later--Cheerio!
